What Corie is
Corie is a voice-training tool. It gives feedback and guidance to help you improve how you sound. It is not medical, clinical, therapeutic, or speech-pathology advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. By using Corie you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Corie — or older if your country sets a higher age of digital consent, in which case you must meet that age. Corie is not directed to children under 13.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. One account per person. Don't abuse the service or try to break it.
Subscriptions, billing & auto-renewal
Corie Pro is a paid subscription — $49 per year or $12 per month, or the equivalent in your local currency shown at checkout (for example, in Korea, ₩59,900/year or ₩13,900/month). The exact price and currency you are charged are the ones displayed at checkout before you confirm. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged for each renewal, until you cancel.
You can cancel anytime — in the app or by emailing hello@corie.app. When you cancel, your access continues through the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods, except as required by the money-back guarantee below or by law.
7-day money-back guarantee
New subscriptions come with a money-back guarantee: if Corie isn't for you, email us within 7 days of your initial purchase for a full refund of that initial purchase. The guarantee applies to the first purchase of a new subscription, not to subsequent renewals.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices. If a change affects your renewal, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect. The new price applies to renewals after that notice period; if you don't agree, cancel before the change takes effect and your subscription will end at the close of your current paid period.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
License & intellectual property
Subject to these terms, Corie grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service. Corie and its content, software, designs, and trademarks remain the property of Corie and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or create derivative works from the service except as permitted by law.
Acceptable use
Don't use Corie to harass, impersonate, or harm anyone, and don't try to reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or interfere with it.
Results & no guarantees
Corie's scores are acoustic measurements of how you sound — not health outcomes, diagnoses, or clinical results. Individual results vary, and we make no guarantee of any particular personal, academic, or professional outcome (such as passing an interview or being hired). Corie is a practice tool; how you use it is up to you.
Disclaimer of warranties
Corie is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any result will be achieved.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corie will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid Corie in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or misuse the service. You may stop using Corie at any time. You can export your data from within the app, and you can request deletion of your account and data by emailing privacy@corie.app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and any disputes will be subject to the courts located in Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product grows. Material changes will be noted here with a fresh date. Continuing to use Corie after a change means you accept the updated terms.
